Ellen founded her company after spending a lifetime of organizing anything. Seeking a career change after 17 years as a chiropractor, she watched professional organizer, Julie Morgenstern on the Oprah Winfrey show and was hooked.

Ellen started her Professional Organizing consulting business in 1999. She completed the TaskMasters "Organizing From The Inside Out" Professional Organizer training in 2000 with the industry’s gold standard, Julie Morgenstern (www.juliemorgenstern.com) in New York City, NY.

Working both independently and as a consultant for Taskmasters, Ellen held a variety of roles at Julie Morgenstern Enterprises and Taskmasters. Her most satisfying was as senior Professional Organizer. She also served as Client Service Director for the organizing services division which included addressing prospect inquiries and sales, scheduling, issue resolution and client follow-up.

In her most recent role with the Organizing Institute, Ellen has collaborated on organizer training programs including needs assessment, hands-on organizing, paperwork management and time management.

Ellen has been a member of National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) since 2003, received the designation of Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO®) from the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers (BCPO), is a member of the Golden NAPO Circle and a New York City NAPO Chapter.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science (Penn State University) and Doctorate in Chiropractic (Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa).
